Turbo Power Systems
This was a fantastic project to work on for Turbo Power Systems, based in Gateshead. Their SmartFleet concept combines AC power from the Grid and DC from renewables to rapidly charge electric vehicles. Check out their website to find out more about it!
The LEGO version was created late in 2023 and features a warehouse covered in solar panels, which alongside electricity supplied from the grid, feed into a range of charging points. The model was great fun to create, with a selection of vehicles that the client is free to place where they want on the model. It also includes some lighting in the charging points to indicate which ones are in use and which are available.
As an ex-photographer I usually document my projects myself, so it was a real bonus having this project captured by Critical Tortoise.
