Inspiring kids!

I was asked to go to Southridge First School in Whitley Bay last week to speak to the reception classes about Lego! It was great fun – I took my Lego house to show them, and talked about the construction of the BALTIC. Some great questions too, and some great guesses at the number of bricks used, ranging from 20 to a billion. Lovely to be around those just as enthusiastic about Lego, even if they were 5 years old!

Lego BALTIC at Woodhorn Colliery

Great to see my creation on display at Woodhorn Colliery’s BrickPlanet exhibition. It runs until the end of May so plenty of time to get down there and see it, along with loads of other great Lego creations. Please note, though, that the BALTIC, along with other local landmarks (Tyne Bridge, Angel, Bamburgh Castle) are all housed in the main building at Woodhorn, not with the other Lego exhibition. Wouldn’t want you to miss it!!
